|Building One of new site with crops growing around it.|
It's mostly house renovations that have morphed into house repairs. Just trying to get these contractors to call back has really got me down. And then there's not having a kitchen anymore.
Anyway, enough whining! Here's another update from Kasese Humanist Primary School Director Bwambale Robert. He starts out with an update on getting building one powered up.
We left off with the wiring being done within the building. Now we're waiting for the building to be connected with the electrical grid. Here's an update I got last Friday (June 21st):
I yesterday received a telephone call from a Umeme Official. They said next week they will be working on my order and that most of their technical work was hampered by the Kilembe Floods event. The Umeme Team and the Electricity Transmission team all had to join hands and assist the Kilembe Mines Team in repairing the damaged lines. I am, however, optimistic that they will come and erect the two poles and then we get lighted up next week.Bwambale has also started some gardening around the new building. He has engaged some of the locals to grow cabbages, tomatoes, pumpkins, green peppers and plantains. All of these crops will be donated to the school to supplement the children's diets.

As with the poultry chicken. I am reporting that they are also doing fine and eggs are being released on a daily basis and this week we supplied to three classes. I am attaching several photos of the KHPS Site and some of the chicken for our followers to keep informed.
