Video: More KHPS Children Get Their First Eggs From Poultry Project!

Bwambale Robert from the Kasese Humanist Primary School sent me another video today of older P7 children getting their first hard-boiled eggs directly from the chickens that have matured.  This was all made possible by the Poultry Project which was 100% donor-funded.

Here's a comment from Bwambale about how the eggs will go to the children and teachers at the school.

Today at the school we supplied eggs to P.7 class & P.1 and the kids were happy.I have tried to upload a few videos on the Kuhaschoolproject Youtube of what transpired today as we were dishing out. Even our teachers have been given all along as we identified they too need to feed well. Once the eggs come in large numbers we shall alter the frequency we serve the children.

You can also watch this video and many more videos from the school on the KHPS Youtube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/Kuhaschoolproject

With this project nearing total success, the school is embarking on a new project to acquire land for its future permanent site.  They are currently renting their land and buildings. You may notice from this video that their current structure appears to be made from tin roofing.  A new site would allow them to build more solid, larger and permanent structures for students, staff and visitors.

We've provided them with eggs.  Now we have another challenge we can meet! Read all about the new fundraiser to give the school a new home here:
